About Brutall
Brutall earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to all caps font, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. It comes from Pian45. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. The save count is still small at 1, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
If you want one use for it, take apparel font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. We look at the lowercase l, the capital I and the figure 1 side by side; if two of them are the same shape, the face will cause trouble. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether all caps font is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
