About Ashira
What we like about Ashira is how little it tries to be everything — it does abstract, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf. Pukka De is the name on the listing. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. It sits at 5 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
Our own plan for it is alfabeto, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. We look at the lowercase l, the capital I and the figure 1 side by side; if two of them are the same shape, the face will cause trouble. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
