About Yuri
What we like about Yuri is how little it tries to be everything — it does apparel design, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. 1 save means nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. mail.skygroup is the name on the listing.
Our own plan for it is book cover design, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
Type cable braid typeface, cozy apparel font, crafters font and craft svg font into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. People after this usually search display, poster, headline, vintage and retro too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. Its home here is Display and Poster Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing. The searches that bring people to this shelf are vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
