About Vintage Scholar
Most of what turns up under americana needs work before it is usable. Vintage Scholar is the version that does not. It sits at 6 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. riki.studio made it. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.
We would use it the way the listing hints — antique — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
