About Vintage Handmade
What we like about Vintage Handmade is how little it tries to be everything — it does 4th of july, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. Credit goes to Strongkeng Old. The save count is still small at 8, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
We keep it filed mentally under background, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
