About Tweed
If 70s lettering is what you came for, start here — Tweed is the plainest reading of that request on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. mail.skygroup made it. The save count is at zero, so there is nothing to lean on but the preview and our reading of it.
If you want one use for it, take 80s retro font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether 70s lettering is really what you are getting.
Type classic poster font, craft svg font, cricut display font and digital tech display into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. Its home here is Display and Poster Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are headline, vintage and slab and they stay on this page. The wording people arrive with is vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
