About Trick or Treat
What we like about Trick or Treat is how little it tries to be everything — it does bat fonts, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. Salt and Pepper Fonts is the name on the listing. We are not the first to notice: 558 makers saved it on before we did, and that number is the closest thing to a verdict the platform gives. The listing shows 5.0 out of 5 on 6 reviews, which is better evidence than the thumbnail.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. Put it to work on bats first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. We would not hesitate on this one, beyond the two minutes it costs to read the licence tab.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
