About Toulon
What we like about Toulon is how little it tries to be everything — it does all caps typeface, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. The designer behind it is dimukhi. The save count is at zero, so there is nothing to lean on but the preview and our reading of it. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. Put it to work on bear themed display font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
If you came in looking for contemporary typeface, craft svg font, cricut display font and custom typography, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. Its home here is Display and Poster Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing. Nearby you will see poster, headline, vintage, retro and slab, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. The wording people arrive with is vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
