What we like about Tinselora is how little it tries to be everything — it does christmas aesthetic, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. Credit goes to TypeIQ. A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. We keep it filed mentally under christmas calligraphy, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
