About Thorzy
What we like about Thorzy is how little it tries to be everything — it does advertising font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. It is DREAM's work. Nobody has piled onto it yet, which means the only recommendation here is ours. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
We keep it filed mentally under apparel font, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether advertising font is really what you are getting.
Type attention grabbing font, bold display font, bold font and bold typography into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. The searches that bring people to this shelf are vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. The same shelf also answers to poster, headline, vintage, retro and slab, so widen the search there before giving up on it. We filed it under Display and Poster Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
