About Terminator
What we like about Terminator is how little it tries to be everything — it does abc, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. artyway is the name on the listing. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 2 reviews, and we read the low scores first when there are any. 76 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. Put it to work on abstract first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether abc was the description or the aspiration.
The words on the listing are abc fonts, abstract fonts, alphabet and alphabet fonts, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. Nearby you will see display, poster, headline, vintage and retro, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. It is shelved with the rest of the display and poster fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. The wording people arrive with is vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
