About Sweetlips

Most of what turns up under apparel design needs work before it is usable. Sweetlips is the version that does not. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. kulturrno made it. 1 save means nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.

A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. The obvious job for it is book cover design, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

Filed as branding typography, editorial font, header font and logo design asset. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. You will find it among the display and poster fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. Related wording on the shelf: display, poster, headline, vintage and retro. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it. We track what people actually type before they land here: vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family.

How to use this font

  1. Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
  2. Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
  3. Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
  4. Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
