About Starielle
We put Starielle on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf because christmas card font is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. The save count is at zero, so there is nothing to lean on but the preview and our reading of it. The designer behind it is TypeIQ. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. Our own plan for it is christmas craft font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Search for christmas cutting font, christmas design, christmas font and christmas invitation and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. People after this usually search display, poster, headline, vintage and retro too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. We keep it under Display and Poster Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the display and poster fonts we have gone through.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
