About Starborn
Starborn earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to album font, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. It sits at 4 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. Wow Magic is the name on the listing. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
Put it to work on apparel font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
Search for bold font, bold typeface, book cover font and branding font and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. The same shelf also answers to display, poster, headline, vintage and retro, so widen the search there before giving up on it. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. We filed it under Display and Poster Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
