About Spooky Humerus
We put Spooky Humerus on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf because chilling font is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. Brown Cupple Fonts is the name on the listing. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. Only 14 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. We would use it the way the listing hints — creepy — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether chilling font is really what you are getting.
The words on the listing are creepy curves font, dark, dark font and darkness font, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. People after this usually search display, poster, headline, vintage and retro too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. We filed it under Display and Poster Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. What this shelf gets asked for is vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
