About Spider
Spider earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to advertising fonts, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. The listing shows 5.0 out of 5 on 2 reviews, which is better evidence than the thumbnail. Credit goes to Nobu Collections. Plenty of people got here before us: 102 of them saved it.
A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. We keep it filed mentally under autumn fonts, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether advertising fonts was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
