About Simple Number
This is the one we reach for when the request is 4th of july. Simple Number keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. It is Inermedia STUDIO's work. It sits at 13 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. We would use it the way the listing hints — beauty font — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether 4th of july was the description or the aspiration.
Type best font, black friday font, branding font and brush font into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. The searches that bring people to this shelf are vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. The neighbouring searches are display, poster, headline, vintage and retro — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it. It is shelved with the rest of the display and poster fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
