About Sibyl
Most of what turns up under 1920s display typeface needs work before it is usable. Sibyl is the version that does not. The save count is still small at 3, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Raholco made it. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
Our own plan for it is abstract typography, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
The listing files it under aesthetic typography, art deco font, artsy font and avant-garde font — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. Related wording on the shelf: poster, headline, vintage, retro and slab. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it. The searches that bring people to this shelf are vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. On this site it lives on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing display and poster fonts rather than searching for it by name.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
