About Secr
What we like about Secr is how little it tries to be everything — it does abstract art deco typeface, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. The save count is still small at 2, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. greenvill is the name on the listing. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
Our own plan for it is alternative streetwear typography, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
Filed as book cover font, creative poster headline layout, cyberpunk gaming logo text and editorial display. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. People after this usually search vintage, retro and slab too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. On this site it lives on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing display and poster fonts rather than searching for it by name.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
