About Rusty Gore
What we like about Rusty Gore is how little it tries to be everything — it does aggressive font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. putracetol made it. It sits at 3 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. We keep it filed mentally under album cover font, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
