About Robatec
Robatec is our branding pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. With 10 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. It comes from Typia Nesia.
We keep it filed mentally under car, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether branding is really what you are getting.
The words on the listing are design and display, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. We filed it under Display and Poster Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. The searches that bring people to this shelf are vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are poster, headline, vintage, retro and slab and they stay on this page.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
