About Retro V2
What we like about Retro V2 is how little it tries to be everything — it does advertising fonts, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 1 review; worth clicking through to see what they actually said. The designer behind it is NPNaay. Only 71 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. We keep it filed mentally under beauty font, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
