About Retro Poster
Retro Poster earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to bold font, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. The save count sits at 117, and a number that size usually means the file does what its preview promises. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 3 reviews, all of them on the listing. designavmad made it.
Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. Put it to work on display font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. A rating like that takes most of the guesswork out. The preview at full size takes out the rest.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
