About Retro Bubble

If beauty font is what you came for, start here — Retro Bubble is the plainest reading of that request on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. It sits at 15 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. Credit goes to Black line.

The obvious job for it is brush font, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font

  1. Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
  2. Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
  3. Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
  4. Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
