About Retro Bright
Retro Bright is our bold font pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. 5.0 out of 5 from 1 review — a small sample, but it is the sample there is. It has 477 saves behind it — enough that we trust the demand, not just our own taste. Hoperative Design is the name on the listing.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. The obvious job for it is bright, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether bold font is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
