About Ravolt
If bold display font is what you came for, start here — Ravolt is the plainest reading of that request on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. Only 2 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. It is Colourful's work.
A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. Put it to work on bold serif font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
It answers to branding font, chunky font, display typeface and headline font, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are poster, vintage, retro and slab and they stay on this page. On this site it lives on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing display and poster fonts rather than searching for it by name. What this shelf gets asked for is vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
