About Plague Play Duo
What we like about Plague Play Duo is how little it tries to be everything — it does cartoon horror font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. 5.0 out of 5 from 2 reviews — a small sample, but it is the sample there is. Illustration Ink is the name on the listing. 5 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
The obvious job for it is cemetary, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether cartoon horror font is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
