About Outline
Outline is our athletic font pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. The designer behind it is turz74347. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. With 4 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size.
The obvious job for it is bold outline font, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
If you came in looking for college font, jersey font, outline font and school font, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. The neighbouring searches are display, poster, headline, vintage and retro — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it. We filed it under Display and Poster Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. The searches that bring people to this shelf are vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
