About Nahum
Nahum is our artistic font pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. With 1 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. It comes from Bluebird.
Our own plan for it is bold font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
Type branding font, canva font, commercial use and creative typography into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. The neighbouring searches are display, poster, headline, vintage and retro — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it. Its home here is Display and Poster Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing. The wording people arrive with is vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
