About Monoway Groovey
This is the one we reach for when the request is 70s design. Monoway Groovey keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. It comes from Arterfak Project. 357 saves is a quiet kind of recommendation, and it is the only one we can read off the listing. The listing shows 5.0 out of 5 on 6 reviews, which is better evidence than the thumbnail.
The obvious job for it is advertising, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. The reviews have done the testing for you; the preview is all that is left to check.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
