About Milk Butter
Most of what turns up under best font needs work before it is usable. Milk Butter is the version that does not. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. The designer behind it is FreshTypeINK. Only 7 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
We keep it filed mentally under blackphanter font, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether best font was the description or the aspiration.
Type branding font, business font, calligraphy font and christmas font into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. Put next to the usual requests here — vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. The same shelf also answers to display, poster, headline, vintage and retro, so widen the search there before giving up on it. It is shelved with the rest of the display and poster fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
