About Melumo

Melumo earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to advertising font, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. Credit goes to Muksal Creative. 2 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.

Put it to work on album artwork first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether advertising font is really what you are getting.

It answers to beauty and skincare branding, black font, bold font and display typeface, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. People after this usually search poster, headline, vintage, retro and slab too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. Put next to the usual requests here — vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. Its home here is Display and Poster Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this font

  1. Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
  2. Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
  3. Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
  4. Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
