About Meila
Ask for book cover font and you get a hundred near-misses; Meila is one of the few that answers the question as asked. pavel is the name on the listing. The save count is still small at 1, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
If you want one use for it, take editorial display: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether book cover font is really what you are getting.
Search for fantasy book title, kdp publishing font, kindle cover design and layout typography and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. We track what people actually type before they land here: vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family. Related wording on the shelf: poster, headline, vintage, retro and slab. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it. We filed it under Display and Poster Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
