About Maker Order
What we like about Maker Order is how little it tries to be everything — it does authentic handwritten font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. It comes from Bagus Kunstler. The save count is still small at 1, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. If you want one use for it, take bold marker font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
The words on the listing are branding design, brutalist font, casual bold font and display font, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. We track what people actually type before they land here: vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family. The same shelf also answers to poster, headline, vintage, retro and slab, so widen the search there before giving up on it. Its home here is Display and Poster Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
