About Makanan Indonesia
Most of what turns up under apparel needs work before it is usable. Makanan Indonesia is the version that does not. weknow is the name on the listing. Only 3 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. We would use it the way the listing hints — basic sans serif — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
The words on the listing are apparel industry font, bold typeface, book and book cover font, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. The neighbouring searches are display, poster, headline, vintage and retro — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it. Put next to the usual requests here — vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. You will find it among the display and poster fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
