About Love Thursday
What we like about Love Thursday is how little it tries to be everything — it does artistic font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. With 5 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. The designer behind it is Jan Jao studio.
Our own plan for it is banner font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether artistic font is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
