About Love Story
Ask for 4th of july and you get a hundred near-misses; Love Story is one of the few that answers the question as asked. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. The designer behind it is Strongkeng Old. The save count is at zero, so there is nothing to lean on but the preview and our reading of it.
The obvious job for it is background, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether 4th of july was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
