About King Richard
We put King Richard on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf because automotie is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. The save count is still small at 17, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Freebies made it. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 9 reviews, all of them on the listing.
Our own plan for it is decorative, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. A rating like that takes most of the guesswork out. The preview at full size takes out the rest.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
