About Jungle Jamboree

The reason Jungle Jamboree is here is adventure font and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. The save count is still small at 1, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. It comes from Soho Studio. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.

If you want one use for it, take animal font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether adventure font is really what you are getting.

The words on the listing are baby shower font, birthday font, bold font and book cover font, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. The searches that bring people to this shelf are vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. The neighbouring searches are display, poster, headline, vintage and retro — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it. We keep it under Display and Poster Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the display and poster fonts we have gone through.

How to use this font

  1. Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
  2. Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
  3. Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
  4. Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
