About Japan Fable
What we like about Japan Fable is how little it tries to be everything — it does advertising fonts, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. MVMET made it. With 26 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. Put it to work on anime first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
The words on the listing are arigato, asian fonts, banner fonts and brush, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. The wording people arrive with is vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. Related wording on the shelf: display, poster, headline, vintage and retro. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it. You will find it among the display and poster fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
