About Horse Speed
Horse Speed earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to basketball, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. Credit goes to Denustudios. Only 21 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
Put it to work on bold font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether basketball was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
