About Gritforge
This is the one we reach for when the request is album font. Gritforge keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. 1 save means nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. BILLI is the name on the listing. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. The obvious job for it is alternative font, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether album font was the description or the aspiration.
Filed as apparel font, blackletter, blackletter font and blackletter typeface. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. You will find it among the display and poster fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. Nearby you will see display, poster, headline, vintage and retro, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. The searches that bring people to this shelf are vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
