About Golden School
We put Golden School on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf because athletic font is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. The designer behind it is riki.studio. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. Only 8 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. The obvious job for it is baseball typography, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
