About Getrano
Most of what turns up under advertising font needs work before it is usable. Getrano is the version that does not. Wow Magic made it. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. It sits at 1 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. The obvious job for it is apparel font, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether advertising font was the description or the aspiration.
Search for bold display font, bold font, bold typography and branding font and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. Put next to the usual requests here — vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. It is shelved with the rest of the display and poster fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. Related wording on the shelf: poster, headline, vintage, retro and slab. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
