About Gemeli
The reason Gemeli is here is cartoon and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. It is WAP's work. 2 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. Our own plan for it is child, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether cartoon is really what you are getting.
Type comic, education, family and fun into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. Judged against the requests we see — vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are display, poster, headline, vintage and retro and they stay on this page. We filed it under Display and Poster Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
