About Funny Polka
What we like about Funny Polka is how little it tries to be everything — it does 7ntypes, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. The save count is still small at 12, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. Credit goes to Anto (7NTypes).
Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. Our own plan for it is accent fonts, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether 7ntypes is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
