Forvik earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to advertising font, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. The designer behind it is Wow Magic. 1 save means nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
The obvious job for it is angular font, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
