About Farmhouse
This is the one we reach for when the request is 4th of july. Farmhouse keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. The save count is still small at 7, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Strongkeng Old is the name on the listing. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
We keep it filed mentally under background, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
