About Eris
What we like about Eris is how little it tries to be everything — it does book cover typography, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 1 review, and we read the low scores first when there are any. It is grifvixcolor's work. It sits at 2 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
Put it to work on book spine font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
