About Eiren
Ask for album artwork and you get a hundred near-misses; Eiren is one of the few that answers the question as asked. It is mail.skygroup's work. Only 4 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. If you want one use for it, take band font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
The listing files it under bold apparel, clothing brand, gig poster and graphic tee — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. It is shelved with the rest of the display and poster fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. Nearby you will see display, headline, vintage, retro and slab, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. The searches that bring people to this shelf are vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
